Minister's tribute to victim of road crash Eileen Maguire

A cleric has spoken of the devastating loss of a beloved mother and grandmother killed in a car accident as she returned from a funeral.

The Rev Canon Glenn Watson said the death of Eileen Maguire was a tragedy for her family and the local community.

Mrs Maguire (69) was travelling home to Lisnarick in Co Fermanagh from a funeral in Belfast on Friday when she was killed in a four-car pile-up on the A4 between Enniskillen and Fivemiletown.

"It is a great family tragedy," said Canon Watson of Castle Archdale Church.

"She was devoted to her family and they were devoted to her. It was so unforeseen.

"She was very well-known in the community and the family ran a local business.

"All our prayers in the community are with the family."
