Mischief has its rewards for Tiger

Belfast may well be home to Britain’s most mischievous kitten according to the owners of local loveable rascal, Tiger.

If they are right, Tiger could bag them a £1,000 prize and a year’s supply of Felix.

Barbara McStravick has entered her daughter Georgia’s three month old kitten into the 2010 Felix Kitten Factor.

Kitten owners can submit an entry by visiting the Felix Kitten Factor website Simply upload a photo of your kitten and explain why he or she deserves the title of Britain’s most mischievous kitten.

All the entries will be displayed online and entrants can get their friends and family behind them and encourage them to go to the website and vote.

The overall winner will then be chosen by competition judges from the 25 kittens with the most public votes. Each individual tale of mischief will be carefully considered!

The hunt is still on but Barbara says she’s sure that Tiger’s antics will |put him in the running for the much coveted title.

“From the day we rescued Tiger he has kept me entertained. Poor Tiger had a rough start to life and was found left in the wild but he obviously hasn’t forgotten some of his instincts; we often find him drinking from the tap in the sink! We want the people of Belfast to show their support for mischief and get behind us and vote for Tiger.”

Kitten Factor is also raising money for Cats Protection. For every entry into the competition, Felix will donate £1 to the charity which re-homes cats.

The winning kitten will bag his owner a £1,000 cash prize, plus a year’s supply of tasty Felix cat food. 11 runners up will each win a three month supply of Felix cat food.
