Friends and family have been searching for missing Michael.

A missing Northern Ireland man has been described as Ireland's best beat-box performer.

Michael "Cull" Cullen has performed his talent to audiences all over the UK in cities including London and Dublin.

The 33-year-old has videos on his YouTube page of performances at the L'Oreal colour show in 2017 and the Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards.

Friends have organised searches and appeals through a Facebook page titled 'Help Find Michael Cullen'.

Speaking during a search of Cave Hill on Thursday, the group's organiser Rory Girvan said they were "optimistic". He said Michael was "well-loved" and probably Ireland's best beatbox performer.

Michael, who is from the North Circular Road area of Belfast, was reported missing by his family on Tuesday.

Michael is 5ft 11in with dark hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark green parka, a grey jumper and black jeans.

Rory Girvan added his disappearance was "highly out of character".

Police said his family were growing increasingly concerned and have appealed for anyone who has seen him to get in touch.

Members of the public are urged to contact the non-emergency number of 101, quoting reference number 622 9/1/18.
