Missing: Police re-appeal as concern grows for missing woman

Police have re-issued their appeal for a missing Vietnamese woman who was last seen in South Belfast two weeks ago.

Trang Houng Tran has been missing since Sunday, November 30 2014.

The 24-year-old was last seen at around 9.10pm in Ulsterville Avenue in south Belfast.

Police have previously issued appeals but are becoming increasingly concerned for the young woman as she is yet to be located.

Inspector Gordon Wilkinson said: “Although a number of enquiries have been carried out by officers, this woman has yet to be located and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare as time goes by.

“Trang is described as being approximately 5 feet tall, of a slim build with brown hair and brown eyes. Trang was last seen wearing a black padded jacket and black leggings. She also has a distinctive ‘smiley face’ tattoo on her hand which is about the size of a 50 pence coin.

“If anybody has any information about Trang Houng Tran’s whereabouts, please contact Police by telephoning 101 or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
