Police have appealed for information after money was stolen from a home during a burglary in Co Antrim.

The incident happened in the Ballymena Road area of Ahoghill on Wednesday April 17.

Detective Sergeant Crothers said: “It is believed the burglary took place sometime between 8am and 6pm on Wednesday and a sum of money was taken.

“We are appealing to anyone with information, or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area, to get in touch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1081 of 17/04/19.”

"Alternatively, information can be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
