Motorcyclist dies after serious crash with lorry in Co Antrim

A motorcyclist has been involved in a serious two-vehicle crash between Magheramorne and Ballycarry in Co Antrim.
The collision happened on the A2 Larne Road at around 12.15pm on Tuesday.
A rapid response vehicle came across the scene and alerted emergency services.
The driver of a car was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A male motorcyclist has died after a serious two-vehicle crash with a lorry in Co Antrim.

The collision occurred shortly after midday.

A rapid response vehicle came across the scene and alerted emergency services.

The Larne Road, Ballycarry remains closed.

Inspector David Anderson said, "I would appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Larne Road around the time of the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple Police Station or local police at Larne on the non-emergency number 101."
