Motorcyclist killed in Northern Ireland road crash

A motorcyclist has died after coming off his bike in a crash in Moneymore, Co Londonderry.

He had been travelling on the Magherafelt Road at the time of the crash on Friday just after 1.30pm.

Emergency crews including the charity air ambulance attended the scene.

The Magherafelt Road was closed for a time to allow for the emergency services to attend to the causality.

Police are investigating and appealed for anyone who may have information or dashcam footage to contact 101 quoting reference number 630 10/5/19.
