Mum seeks son's Greenway Good Samaritan

An east Belfast woman is appealing for an unknown good samaritan to make themselves known after they helped her son who had been knocked unconscious in a cycling accident.

Alison Steele's son Jordan (11) fell off his bike on the Comber Greenway on September 8.

He suffered cuts to the right side of his face that needed stitches and he also broke a bone in his right hand due to the fall.

Alison said: "A passing runner stopped and took Jordan's phone and rang me.

"He didn't know where he was on the Greenway so that we could get to Jordan so he asked a couple walking the dog where he was. He was just off Greengroves Road.

"Jordan's injuries were all down the right side and were severe.

"I would appeal to this person to come forward so we can say thanks," added Alison.
