New blow for JLS ticket-holders

Tickets bought for the cancelled JLS and Friends concert due to have been held in Belfast are not transferable to a similar event in Newry, it has been announced.

The Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children yesterday issued clarification on what to do with tickets already bought for the August 2 event which was to have been held on the Titanic Slipways.

The charity, which was to have been a major beneficiary, said it was informed last week that the concert had been cancelled. No reason has been given. It was initially believed that any tickets bought for the Belfast event could be transferred to a JLS concert being staged at Newry's Pairc Esler on August 1.

However, NICFC said this is not the case and tickets bought will have to be refunded by contacting Ticketmaster.
