
Brave swimmers took the plunge on New Year's Day in the freezing waters around the north coast.
In Portstewart, hardy fundraisers sprinted into the waves after a countdown from Justice Minister and local Assembly member Claire Sugden. They were raising money for Sands (the stillbirth and neonatal death charity), which supports bereaved parents in Northern Ireland.
In Portballantrae, meanwhile, divers took a leap of faith into the icy waters for the NSPCC.
And in Carnlough fancy dress was all the rage for those raising funds for the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
