Northern Ireland’s five cities lost more than £1.6bn in beer and cocktail sales during lockdown, a study has revealed.

Belfast’s bars, nightclubs and restaurants alone missed out in nearly £992m in revenue, based on the average pint costing £4.42 and a cocktail £8, over a period of 11 months.
