North Belfast stabbing victim in hospital
A man was rushed to hospital last night after being stabbed in north Belfast.
It's believed to have happened in a house on Alliance Avenue.
Blood could be seen outside the property, an eyewitness said later.
A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) spokesperson said it received a 999 call at 8.46pm "following reports of a male having been stabbed in the Alliance Avenue area of north Belfast".
"NIAS dispatched an emergency crew to the incident.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, the patient had been taken to the Mater Hospital."
