Northern Ireland footballer Kyle Lafferty fools fans by 'dying' hair silver and blonde
Kyle Lafferty has duped fans into thinking he had dyed his hair from brunette to silver and then bleach blonde.
The Northern Ireland ace took to Twitter on Friday to unveil his "new" silver locks with the help of some digital enhancement..
The 30-year-old posted: "It was time for a change. Will I live to regret this. Time will tell. #newlook."
Hundreds of followers flocked to give their opinion on his "new" hair do with one fan even comparing him to legend TV presenter Philip Schofield.
Although it wasn't long before fans caught on to the ex-Rangers players' gag. On Monday Lafferty took to Twitter again to post another picture of himself with a new hairstyle.
He said: "Wasn't digging the silver so a quick colour change to blonde. Lets see how this goes down. #colourchange."
Fellow Northern Ireland player Stuart Dallas commented: "Hahaha you actually had me fooled the first time."
While Northern Ireland Midfielder Steven Davis replied to the photo with a hilarious Gif.
Kyle Lafferty wasn't the only celebrity to jump on the blonde bandwagon recently.
Danny O'Donoghue, singer of the band The Script, also took to Twitter to debut his new blonde hairstyle.
He posted: "Do blondes have more fun? I guess I'm gonna find out."
