Northern Ireland Hospice calls for help at Christmas for Belfast flag day

The Northern Ireland Hospice is urging people to get into the festive spirit by volunteering for a few hours during their Christmas Flag Day in Belfast city centre on Thursday, December 19.

Volunteers over the age of 16 are encouraged to take part by donating an hour or two of their time to help collect for the Hospice on the city centre streets.

All money raised will make a big difference to local adults living with terminal illnesses and their families.

Lynn Cowan, events fundraiser for Northern Ireland Hospice, said: "Donating an hour or two of your time to help Northern Ireland Hospice is a great way to get into the festive spirit. The more people that give the gift of their time, the more money that is raised for Hospice – it really is that simple."

If any members of the public aged 16 years or over would like to help collect between the hours of 9am-9pm on Thursday, December 19, contact Lynn Cowan at 028 9077 7123 or
