Northern Ireland hospital facing 'extreme pressure' - patients told 'consider other options'
The South Eastern Trust is asking patients to consider other options due to "extreme pressure" at Ulster Hospital's emergency department.
Patients are asked to only attend the hospital if it is an emergency.
A South Eastern Trust spokesperson said: "Patients are having to wait longer longer than we would like".
Anyone who needs non-emergency medical treatment can contact their GP or local pharmacy for assistance.
