Northern Ireland traffic alerts: Belfast parades and rally expected to disrupt Sunday city travel

  • Police advised toad users to expect traffic delays on Sunday 25 February between 11.30am and 3pm in Belfast city centre. This is due to a number of parades and a rally taking place during this time, which may cause some traffic disruption. The public are asked to plan their journeys in advance and follow the directions of police officers.
  • Due to expected low temperatures a planned closure for resurfacing the A4 Friths Pass Enniskillen on Sunday 25 February has had to be postponed until further notice.
  • Road users are advised to anticipate traffic delays on Saturday 24 February between 10am and 11am with a Parade travelling from east Belfast into the city centre and then between 11.30am and 1pm, with another parade traveling along Springfield Road, Lanark Way, Shankill Road, North Street, Royal Avenue, Donegall Place and Belfast City Hall. The public are asked to plan their journeys in advance and follow the directions of police officers.
