If you going to the Snow Patrol concert tonight traffic and parking delays are inevitable.

Police are advising concert-goers to use public transport if possible. Between midday to midnight, there will be strictly no parking in areas adjacent to Ward Park.

Residents only will be permitted to park in these areas. Designated additional car parking is available at Valentines and Bloomfield Playing Field. At the end of the concert, there will be a full road closure on the Gransha Road, Bloomfield Road, Castle Park Avenue, Broadway, only for as long as is absolutely necessary, to enable the participants to leave the site safely.

For the weather it will be a mostly cloudy day with drizzle at times. The evening is set to be dry but still cloudy.

The BBC's Barra Best says there's a chance of rain for the show - and the ground will likely be wet.

"Wellies might come in useful," he said.
