Northern Ireland washout to continue as London basks in the sunshine
London may have enjoyed its warmest day of the year to date yesterday, but the rain is set to continue falling over Northern Ireland across the weekend. Parts of England enjoyed pleasant temperatures, with up to 16.9C recorded at St James's Park in London.
The mercury is set to soar higher still today up to 18C.
However, Northern Ireland shivered yesterday with temperatures as low as 5C in some areas.
The Met Office have said that today will get off to a bright start in Northern Ireland but scattered, heavy showers are expected to break out later in the morning, and will continue into the afternoon.
Tomorrow is again expected to start dry, with heavy showers moving in later and a possibility of thunder.
