Northern Ireland Water fined again for pollution

Northern Ireland Water has pleaded guilty and was fined £1,000 after sewage polluted a tributary of the River Lagan at Culcavy Road, Hillsborough.

An official acting on behalf of the Northern Ireland Environment Agency found the water to be grey in colour and clearly polluted.

NI Water was also ordered to pay court costs of £22.
