Northern Ireland's Best Kept Awards take off

The 2018 Northern Ireland Best Kept Awards are officially open.

Doreen Muskett, president of the Northern Ireland Amenity Council, and Michelle Hatfield, director of HR and corporate responsibility at title sponsor George Best Belfast City Airport, were joined by pupils from the airport's adopted schools - St Malachy's Primary and Seaview Primary - to officially launch the search for the 'Best Kept' places across the province.

It is the second year the airport has sponsored the awards initiative, which aims to celebrate Northern Ireland's best looked-after towns, villages, schools, healthcare facilities, housing areas and individual community achievers, with 90 awards presented at three ceremonies during the year.
