Off-duty police woman saves choking boy at Ards Shopping Centre - mum thanks 'amazing' officer

A mum has thanked the "amazing" PSNI officer who helped save her son's life.

The woman was in Ards Shopping Centre when her little boy began choking.

"I was standing like an idiot screaming for help," she wrote on Facebook.

"He turned white and his legs started to go beneath him."

It was at this point the police woman came to the child's rescue and saved his life, the mother said.

"I was in such a state, I didn't get to thank her properly," she added.

"If anyone happens to know of this amazing lady could you let me know, she deserves a proper thank you."

Never Off Duty A shout out to our colleague who put her quick thinking and first aid training to good use yesterdsy whilst at Ards Shopping centre. You know who you are. Well Done! #NeverOffDuty
