Omagh man splattered blood on wall of ex’s house
An Omagh man who trespassed in the home of an ex-partner, damaged property belonging to her, and splattered his own blood on her walls, was jailed for three months after he appeared at Omagh Magistrates’ Court.
Kieran Mitchell (28), of Campsie Road, Omagh, admitted trespass, but denied causing any damage.
The court heard that, when a woman returned home after a night out, she found the key loose in the door. The next morning she noticed that things in her bedroom had been moved, and blood was splattered on the wall.
District Judge Benita Boyd imposed three months’ imprisonment. The defendant was given £300 bail to appeal.
