Haiti fundraiser — a mixed charity football match will be held at the Pavillion complex, Stormont this Friday, March 12 at 4.15pm.

Netherleigh Sports Club are playing Dungoyne Ladies and proceeds will go towards the Haiti Appeal.

Haiti appeal sale — a sale to raise funds for the Haiti appeal will take place in the Clarawood Tenants Association Hall this Friday, March 12.

The sale will include bric a brac, books, ladies clothes and many other items.

Admission is free and tea and coffee will also be served. The event will take place from 7pm until 10pm.

Action Cancer bus — the Action Cancer Big Bus will be making a stop in east Belfast this month.

On March 18, 24 and 27 the bus will be located at the Laser store at Connswater Shopping Centre.

The vehicle houses cancer prevention and early detection services, and staff on the unit also provide information about support.

Services available include digital breast screening for women aged between 40 and 49 and over 70, as well as health promotion and MOT health checks for men and women.

School reunion — Bloomfield Collegiate's class of 1990 will be holding a 20 year reunion this year and are looking for many ‘old girls' to get back in touch.

The event will take place on May 7, at 7.30pm in the Pavilion, Stormont.

Former head girl Kathryn Murray said the group was having “problems tracking down some old chums”.
