A teddy bear Bible festival is taking place this month at the Orange Order's museum.

The event at the Museum of Orange Heritage in Belfast coincides with Easter and will see a series of well-known Bible stories illustrated using teddy bears. Bears were donated after an appeal, and will be donated to charity afterwards.

Grand secretary of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland Rev Mervyn Gibson said the festival should encourage people to learn more about the Bible and the Easter story.

The festival runs until April 27. Craft days will be held on April 17 and 23.
