Orange Order newspaper goes online

By Staff Reporter

The Orange Order's official newspaper has gone digital.

The organisations said the Orange Standard was available to read on tablets, mobile phones and computers. The monthly print edition will continue.

Tom Haire, chairman of the Orange Standard board of management, hailed the move as a "landmark moment" for the newspaper.

"We firmly believe, in this digital era, our online edition will be enthusiastically received by both existing and potential new readers," he said.

"We also have confidence the traditional newspaper will continue to flourish."
