Pair bailed after three men stabbed in Belfast

Two people arrested in connection with the stabbing of three men in Belfast have been released.

A man aged in his 20s, was released on bail yesterday pending further inquiries.

A woman aged 20 who was detained on Saturday was released on the same conditions later that day.

Another man, also in his 20s, remained in police custody yesterday.

One victim, in his 20s, was found with stab wounds to his head when police arrived at a house in the York Park area, in the north of the city, in the early hours of Saturday.

Two other men, who are also in their 20s, were found nearby at retail premises on the Shore Road.

One received surgery for abdominal injuries while the other suffered a head injury and stab wounds to his neck.

All three men were said to be in a stable condition in hospital following the incident.
