Passengers urged to check in early as Ryanair website and mobile app to close for twelve hours
Ryanair passengers will be unable to check in online for a period of twelve hours as the company close their website and mobile app on Wednesday.
The airline have announced that the services will be unavailable from 5pm on Wednesday (November 7) to 5am on Thursday due to a systems upgrade.
Ryanair's online check-in service will not be available during this time. Passengers will also be unable to make new bookings or change existing flights.
The company charge an additional £55 per person if they wish to check-in at an airport.
On Monday the company contacted all passengers flying with them during the period specified to let them know about the issues.
Passengers flying during this period have been advised to check in online in advance.
Ryanair has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the systems upgrade.
"Customers travelling on Wednesday or Thursday should check-in for their flight on Tuesday 6th November. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this upgrade, which will further improve Ryanair.com,” Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said.
