Police are appealing to the public to help find a man understood to be a patient who has gone missing from a Belfast hospital.

Egidijus Jonaitas, 44, was last seen at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Thursday afternoon.

Mr Jonaitas is described as approximately 5’5” tall, slim build with short dark hair and tattoos on his arms and feet.

He is believed to be wearing pyjamas and navy slippers.

He may have a limp or be using crutches.

If anyone knows of his whereabouts or has seen a person matching the description they are asked to contact police on the non-emergency number, 101.
