Pedestrian dies after being hit by lorry in Belfast city centre

A pedestrian has died after he was hit by a lorry in Belfast.

The man aged in his 60s was fatally injured in the Dock Street incident at around 3.15pm on Friday.

Police have appealed for witnesses and are particularly keen to hear from motorist who were in the area between 2.45pm and 3.15 and have a dashboard camera.

Dock Street was closed but has since reopened following the early evening incident.
