Pensioner killed in Co Down road crash is named

A 68-year-old man who died after a road crash in Newry has been named by police.

Wilfred Vaughan Chambers (68) - from the Newry area - was killed after a crash in the Windsor Hill area at around 3pm on Tuesday.

Another man remains in hospital being treated for injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.

Police have appealed for information.

The road death comes after a three motorcyclists were killed on Northern Ireland's roads since the weekend.
