Pictured: Christmas lights turned on in Lisburn and Ballymoney
With just over five weeks to go until the big day, Northern Ireland's first Christmas lights have been switched on.
Lights were switched on in Ballymoney and Lisburn, with spectators out in force to greet Santa.
The event in Ballymoney included carol singing and a mobile grotto, with live music from band Curve.
Hundreds turned out for Lisburn's Switch On event, which included stilt walkers, festive characters and performing arts students from the South Eastern Regional College.
Music was provided by a Christmas samba band, a concert band and Lisburn Community Children's Choir.
