The public has been warned to remain vigilant after scammers targeted a a cash machine in Belfast.

Devices were placed on the ATM in the north of the city on Friday, with images released by police showing the barely-visible camera and card skimmer.

The scam was uncovered after a member of the public reported two men acting suspiciously in the vicinity of the cash machine.

The PSNI's Economic Crime Unit has warned the public to be on the lookout for any suspicious activities around ATMs.

DC Stephen Crooks advised the public to contact the non-emergency number 101, or 999 in an emergency.
