Pictured: Police drink-drive warning after van left on roof after crash

Police have issued a stark drink-drive warning a van was left on its roof after crash.

Omagh officers posted the picture on Facebook on Sunday morning.

"They say a picture paints a thousand words," they said.

"This is what happens when you consume alcohol and choose to get behind the wheel.

"The driver of this van was involved in a collision in the early hours of the morning in the Omagh area. Thankfully nobody was seriously injured or killed. The driver was arrested and found to be over twice the legal limit. He will be making an appearance at Omagh Court in the coming weeks for his troubles.

"Our message is clear; Never, ever drink and drive. We will be carrying out random breath tests again over the Christmas period. Don’t make the same mistake as this driver."
