Pictured: Police involved in Belfast smash - traffic at standstill after car bursts into flames

A police car has been involved in a crash in Belfast.

It happened close to the Forestside shopping centre on Saturday morning.

It's understood the crash is between a police car and a white SUV on the Upper Knockbreda Road at the junction of the Saintfield Road.

One of the cars involved burst into flames following the collision.

A passing witness said it didn't look like there were any injuries to those involved.

Emergency services attended the the scene and traffic was at a standstill while they worked at the scene. The road has since reopened.
