Plea after man is attacked in west Belfast

A 37-year-old man has been left with a suspected broken collar bone, fractured jaw and fractured eye socket after he was beaten in west Belfast.

The victim was attacked by two men at about 6.45am on Saturday in the Albert Street area. Police say the man was treated in hospital for his injuries which included bruising to his body.

Detectives are appealing to anyone with information about the assault to contact them at Grosvenor Road police station on 0845 600.
