It happened on the Forthill Road near the old cinema on Friday October 5 at around 3.45pm

A PSNI spokesperson said: "A lady driving a white car collided with an 11-year-old boy who was crossing the road.

"The young lad sustained bruising to his right knee and left ankle after being knocked to the ground.

"She did stop and ask if he was OK, but then left and didn't contact police or the child's parents.
