Police appeal after house was burgled in Belfast

Investigating detectives are appealing for information in relation to a burglary which occurred in the Ravenhill Park area of Belfast at approximately 2.30am on Sunday morning, February 5.

The resident of the property disturbed the intruder who then made off, discarding the stolen property in a neighbour's garden.

Detective Sergeant McPhillips would appeal to anyone who was in the area around this time and may have witnessed this incident, or anyone who has any information about the incident to contact police at reactive and organised crime at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference 230 05/02/17.

Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
