Police appeal after number of burglaries in County Down and Armagh.

Police have made an appeal following a number of burglaries at shops in County Down and Armagh.

Premises on Main Street in Hilltown, Commons Road, Ballykinlar and Concession Road in Crossmaglen were targeted on November 3.

The Hilltown business was then burgled a second time on November 17.

A large number of cigarettes were taken on all occasions.

Detective Sergeant Melanie McGrory said: "We are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have information regarding these crimes. Detectives can be contacted at Ardmore police station by calling 101.”

"Information about crime can also be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."
