Police appeal for missing Belfast man Brendan McDermott

Police have issued an appeal for missing Belfast man, Brendan McDermott.

The 45-year-old has not been seen by his family and friends since December 1, but is believed to have been in the area of his home at around 6am on Sunday.

Mr McDermott is described as being vulnerable and is 5'10" tall, of medium build, with short, receding brown hair and an unshaven complexion.

He is described as having green eyes and a nose stud and a red butterfly tattoo on his neck. When last seen he was wearing a brown jacket, a woolen polo neck jumper, dark boots and carrying a small rucksack and a notepad.

Police would appeal to Brendan or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact them at Musgrave Street Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
