Police appeal over Belfast car hijacking

Police are appealing for information after a car hijacking in Belfast.

It happened at the junction of Glenalina Road and Whiterock Road in Belfast on Wednesday at 10pm.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Gardiner said: “A blue Ford Focus stopped at the junction when two males approached the car, the driver’s door was opened and one of the males demanded that the driver got out of the car. The two males then entered the car and drove off along the Whiterock Road.

"I would ask that anyone with information contact detectives at Musgrave station on 101 quoting crime reference number 1615 of 23/08/2017, or if you wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
