Police investigating the murder of Romanian fisherman Stefan Zait have arrested a man and a woman.
Mr Zait (45), who was originally from Romania, was attacked in Ardglass just before 11am on Tuesday suffering serious injuries. He later passed away in hospital on Thursday sparking a PSNI murder investigation.
A PSNI spokesman said detectives from the Serious Crime Branch arrested a 50-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman in connection with the investigation on Friday.
They were arrested in the Ardglass area as part of the overall investigation and have been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.
A 20-year-old man remains in police custody at this time and a 40 year old woman arrested last night has been released unconditionally.
