Police forces unite for church service

Police officers from around the world attended the ninth annual Royal Ulster Constabulary George Cross church service at Terrace Row Presbyterian Church, Coleraine, yesterday.

Senior officers from the FBI, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, New Zealand Police, An Garda Siochana and a number of British forces joined members of the Northern Ireland police family at the service. Most of the 8-strong congregation was made up of widows and relatives of deceased RUC officers.
