Police in £30,000 cannabis swoop

Police in Larne have recovered cannabis with a street value of £30,000 in the third seizure in the town in recent months.

PSNI officers from the Larne Neighbourhood Policing Team recovered 60 suspected plants of the class B drug from a house in the Old Glenarm Road area.

A number of other items were also taken away for further forensic examination.

Larne Inspector Noel Rogan said: “This is the third such incident within recent months in the Larne area.”
