Police in hospital after accident

Four police officers in Northern Ireland have been hospitalised after their Land Rover overturned.

The three men and one woman are being examined following the accident on the Westlink in Belfast, police said.

Two lanes of the road were closed.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said they had taken the officers to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. It added they were in stable conditions.

Police said their conditions were not life-threatening.
