Police injured in stolen car pursuit between Belfast and Lurgan
Car ploughed into police before making off toward Craigavon
A stolen car has been tracked to Lurgan after it crashed into a police vehicle in Belfast resulting in two officers being injured.
Police noticed the stolen vehicle in the Ligoniel Road area of north Belfast on Thursday afternoon.
They attempted to stop the car in the nearby Thornberry Road, however, while making its escape it crashed into a police car.
The PSNI's helicopter was used to track the vehicle to Lurgan where it crashed into another two cars on Silverwood Road.
Three males, aged 15, 26 and 29 were arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences and are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
Two officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident, a police spokesman said.
The Silverwood Road has been closed between Kiln Lane and Tanaghmore Gardens to allow for police investigations
