Police investigate sexual assault on teenage girl in Lisburn

Police are investigating a sexual assault after a 15-year-old girl was grabbed by a man in Lisburn.

The girl had been sitting on a bench with a friend at Warren Gardens on July 24 when they were approached by a man.

He spoke briefly to the girls, but as the pair went to leave, grabbed the 15-year-old.

She struggled and managed to break free before making off.

The man is said to be in his early 20s, around 5 '10" tall, of slim build with blonde hair and stubble.

Police said he was wearing glasses, a dark baseball cap and blue tracksuit.
