Police make urgent appeal for missing man who needs medical treatment

Police have made a fresh appeal for a man who has been missing for a month and requires medical attention.

North Belfast man Leon Wood (45) was last seen on October 27 in the Crumlin Road area of Belfast.

He is described as being 6ft in height, of heavy build and speaks with a Liverpool accent.

Leon has very short, cropped hair which is bald at the crown and he has a slightly-greying beard and moustache. He sometimes wears large, black-framed glasses and is known to carry a shopping bag made of material.

A police spokesman said: "Leon requires medical treatment and we are appealing for him to make contact with police.

“If anyone knows of Leon’s whereabouts they should contact police at Tennent Street on 101, quoting reference number 334 of 20/11/17.”
