Police probe lorry accident

Police in east Belfast are appealing for witnesses after an articulated lorry hit a car.

The silver Mini Cooper, BMW-type, was struck by an articulated lorry at around 6.40pm on Saturday, November 6, on Hawthornden Way, Belfast.

Police are keen to speak to the driver of the lorry to assist in their enquiries.

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact the police on 0845 600 8000, or alternatively contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
