Police warning after Northern Ireland home break-in
Police are warning the public to be vigilant and to support others in securing their properties after a burglary at a Portadown home.
It comes after jewelery was taken from a home on the Brownstown Road in Portadown sometime between 4pm and 8pm on Friday.
Police are appealing for information.
Detective Constable Connor said: "I would urge everyone to protect themselves against theft and burglary by locking all doors and windows.
"Remove all your valuables from sight – both at home and in your vehicle - and remain vigilant to suspicious activity.
"I would also encourage everyone to advise their parents, older relatives and friends about securing their valuables and personal items.”
