Pressure has been growing on Sinn Fein Mairtin O Muilleoir to quit after he retweeted Barry McElduff's offending Kingsmill video on Twitter - but the public appears split on what he should do.
Following the resignation of the West Tyrone MP, unionist politicians have called for Mr O Muilleoir to follow suit.
He has apologised for his actions and Sinn Fein said the South Belfast MLA has been spoken to about his social media use and told to be more responsible in future. Stormont leader Michelle O'Neill said the matter was closed.

- New Sinn Fein MP for West Tyrone will prop up Tory misrule... is that what republicans really vote for?
The normally media friendly O Muilleoir has been more elusive in recent days. The Belfast Telegraph attempted to track down the veteran politician on Tuesday. We were told he was not in at the offices of his Belfast Media Group organisation while the shutters were down and a shop worker in the area said there had been "little life" at the Ormeau Road offices that day. Many people in the area voiced their support for their MLA.
Belfast Telegraph online ran a poll on what Mr O Muilleoir should do in the wake of his retweet - and the public appear split.
Of the over 13,000 people who voted in our by Wednesday morning 46% say he should "do nothing" while 45% say it is time he quit. Only 7% think he should explain his actions and 2% say Sinn Fein should suspend him.
